Things to try

There’s no checklist. Play normally and use Backseat where you’d otherwise look something up. If you want to be useful on purpose, these are the things we’re most curious about.

Ask the obvious thing

You’re looking at a quest log. Ask what to do next. Does the answer match what’s on screen?

Click instead of type

Open Backseat, then click a highlighted name or item. Does it know what you meant?

Ask about something it can't see

A place from an hour ago. An item in your bag but not on screen. Does it say so, or does it bluff?

Try it in the wrong place

Mid-combat, in a cutscene, in a menu with tiny text. Where does it read well, where does it fail?

Watch for cost

Stutter, frame drops when it opens, a cursor that got stuck. We think it costs nothing. Tell us if it does.

Change the hotkey

If F6 already does something in your game, or hides behind Fn, rebind it.

Tell us

The good, the bad, the odd. Send feedback says what helps most. “It worked, felt fine” counts too — it tells us your machine is one we don’t have to worry about.
